Norwood, NJ / Storyteller / May 21, 2026 /
Valley Spring Recovery Center, a behavioral health treatment in New Jersey serving Bergen County and the greater New York metropolitan area, announced the appointment of Tom Roskin as Business Development Executive, a strategic addition aimed at expanding access to the organization’s growing mental health and substance use disorder treatment programs.
Roskin brings more than three decades of sales, marketing, and operational leadership experience across finance, mortgage, and behavioral health sectors. Over the last 11 years, he has focused exclusively on behavioral healthcare, where he played a key role in expanding outpatient mental health programming throughout New Jersey.

Prior to joining Valley Spring, Roskin helped build and strengthen the outpatient programming at Praesum Healthcare and The Counseling Center, contributing to the development of mental health services across 10 New Jersey locations. His work included building referral networks, collaborating closely with clinicians and operational teams, and supporting scalable growth initiatives designed to improve patient access to care.
The appointment reflects Valley Spring’s continued investment in expanding its clinical reach and strengthening partnerships with providers, hospitals, Employee Assistance Programs, and community organizations throughout the region.
“The future of mental health is shifting from treatment to prevention, from isolated care to integrated ecosystems, and from stigma to accessibility,” said Roskin. “I’m focused on building strategic partnerships that accelerate that transformation and make proactive, human-centered care a reality.”
Roskin’s professional background includes leading business development efforts in highly regulated industries, with a focus on relationship-driven growth and long-term operational sustainability. Valley Spring leadership said his experience will support the organization’s efforts to broaden awareness of its clinical services while continuing to prioritize quality care delivery.
As demand for integrated behavioral health services continues to increase nationally, providers are placing greater emphasis on accessible outpatient treatment models that address both mental health and substance use disorders. Valley Spring has continued expanding its clinical infrastructure in response to those trends, including investments in leadership, program development, and specialized treatment tracks.
“Tom brings a rare combination of industry experience, operational discipline, and relationship-building expertise,” said Michael O’Sullivan, COO of Valley Spring Recovery Center. “As we continue expanding our clinical service lines, it’s critical that we build partnerships with organizations and providers that share our commitment to high-quality care. Tom understands both the business and clinical side of behavioral healthcare, which makes him uniquely positioned to help support our long-term growth.”
Roskin, a native New Yorker, recently relocated to Connecticut with his wife of 29 years. He joins Valley Spring during a period of continued organizational growth focused on expanding access to evidence-based mental health and addiction treatment services throughout New Jersey and the surrounding region.
