SLIDELL, LA – Off The Trace Dental, a family dental practice located at 2130 Gause Blvd W in Slidell, has announced an ongoing partnership with Sarah’s Laughter®, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides faith-based support to individuals and couples navigating infertility and pregnancy loss.
As part of the initiative, the practice donates to Sarah’s Laughter® for every new patient seen at the office – a commitment that reflects the personal story behind the practice itself. Dr. Pamela Daigle, the founder and lead dentist at Off The Trace Dental, originally trained and practiced dentistry in Lima, Peru, before relocating to the United States with her husband, Casey. Because her Peruvian dental credentials were not recognized domestically, Dr. Daigle enrolled at LSU Health to complete a second dental degree – a process that spanned several years and pushed back the couple’s plans to start a family. The Daigles welcomed their daughter in 2022.
“I know firsthand what it means to have a dream that feels just out of reach,” said Dr. Daigle. “For so many couples in our community, that dream is having a child. Sarah’s Laughter® walks alongside those families with compassion and real support. Every new smile we see at Off The Trace Dental is a chance to give back to families who are on that journey.”
Sarah’s Laughter® facilitates infertility and pregnancy loss support groups both in person across the United States and online. The organization welcomes participants of all faiths and operates independently of any church or denomination.
