Beekman Group Portfolio Company Convenient Brands Divests IntelliPay, a Leader in Omnichannel, Fee-Based Payment Processing Solutions for Government, Education, and Other Diversified End Markets

Convenient Brands, Inc. (“Convenient Brands”), a provider of auto repair software and payment processing services, announced today that it has completed the sale of Convenient Payments, LLC, d/b/a IntelliPay (“IntelliPay”), a leader in omnichannel, integrated payment processing and payment management software for government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and other merchants, to Priority Commerce.

IntelliPay offers a scalable, PCI DSS Level 1 compliant, cloud-based payment suite along with a range of fee-based solutions such as dual pricing, surcharging, convenience fees, and service fees. Together with the company’s deep integrations into third-party software platforms and its robust customer support function, IntelliPay creates a compelling value proposition that has enabled it to win thousands of customers and generate an attractive rate of growth over a sustained period of time.

Beekman completed a majority recapitalization of IntelliPay in March 2019 and supported sales, marketing, and product expansion, the development of proprietary technology including a patented single-dip EMV solution for government point-of-sale processing, and significant team growth.

“We congratulate Casey Leloux and the IntelliPay team on a successful sale to Priority Commerce and wish them the best in the years ahead. We thoroughly enjoyed our partnership and are proud of the differentiated platform we built together in the payments industry,” said James Clippard, the Chairman of Convenient Brands’ Board of Directors and Managing Director of The Beekman Group, the majority owner of Convenient Brands.

TD Securities served as financial advisor to Convenient Brands in connection with the transaction. Akerman served as legal advisor to Convenient Brands and Beekman Group. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
